From 4-7 October 2023, the South African Judo Championships took place in Cape Town.
18 Namibian learners (10 DHPS learners) took place in the competitions in the categories Kata, Novices and Advanced. The judoka achieved 23 medals in total, 14 were won by the DHPS judoka.
The judoka had a lot of fun, showed an amazing team spirit and gained many new experiences.
Here are the amazing results of our DHPS judoka:
- Tristan Schröder: 1 Gold, 1 Silver
- Florian Rust: 2 Silver
- Julia Voigts: 2 Gold, 1 Silver
- Pia Schünemann: 1 Gold, 2 Silver
- Mia Stander: 1 Gold
- Hendrie Mutschler: 1 Gold & 4th Place
- Hannes Lux: 1 Silver & 4th place
- Jakob Ritzer 1 Silver & 4th place
- Jana Mutschler: unfortunately injured during first fight, but she was a wonderful coach for the younger judoka.
- Helge von Dittfurth: Wonderfully fought.
