Career Fair 2025

On 27 and 28 February, the Career Fair 2025, took place, organised by the DHPS and Goethe-Institut at their new location.
Universities, dual study institutions and
training companies from Namibia, South Africa and Germany participated either
online or in person in Windhoek to present education and training opportunities
to the learners.
The range of exhibitors included training
providers in the healthcare sector - such as the Diakonissen in Speyer and
the BruderhausDiakonie in Baden-Württemberg - as well as specialised dual
study programmes, such as the Duale Hochschule Karlsruhe, which
introduced specific opportunities for DHPS graduates.
Learners in grades 9 to 12 could gain
insights into training opportunities at Namibian companies and the University
of Namibia, as well as with German companies and municipalities.
The presence of the Consular and Visa
Office of the German Embassy was particularly helpful, allowing non-German
citizens to have their questions answered directly on-site.
More than 2,000 learners, students and
visitors attended the fair, engaged with exhibitors and listened to
informative presentations.
The participating companies and organisations were pleased with the
keen interest and DHPS, in
collaboration with the Goethe-Institut plan to continue the event with Career
Fair 2026.
