The National Pupkewitz Interschool Gala took place at the Olympia municipal swimming pool over the weekend of 1 and 2 November 2024.
This year, 18 schools participated, with over 500 swimmers competing.

The boys and girls from DHPS took first place in the Primary School category with 570 points, followed by St Paul’s College Primary School with 502 points, and Windhoek Gymnasium Primary School in third place with 331 points.

In the senior sections, DHPS also claimed first place with 514 points, while Windhoek Gymnasium scored 256 points in the Highschool category and St Georges came third with 176 points.

Nele Erni set two new records with exceptional times in the U8 competition class for the 50m butterfly and 50m freestyle. Another record was broken by the U14 boys' relay team with DHPS swimmers Naan Jiao, Tim Lux, Timo Keding and Victor Engelhard.
