The DHPS was strongly represented with over 70 athletes consisting of learners, teachers, and parents at the FNB Sandman Triathlon in Swakopmund on 15 December 2024.
Triathlon means swimming, cycling, and running. You can either do all three in succession or be part of a team where each member does one discipline. From the mini distance (150m swimming, 6 km cycling, and 3 km running) to the ultra distance (1500m swimming, 90 km cycling, and 21 km running), over 20 DHPS teams participated, achieving many podium placements.

It is particularly noteworthy that DHPS athletes always take on the challenge of completing an entire triathlon independently, facing new challenges, and mastering them excellently. There are also many podium placements for DHPS in the individual category. The exact results will soon be available on the OTB website.

A big thank you to all the athletes who strongly represented DHPS and shone with their commitment. It was an all-around successful sports weekend in Swakopmund.
