Clyde Foster presented a talk for our grade 7 learners on 10 October 2024 as part of the World Space Week 2024 (supported by NCRST and Namibia Scientific Society)"I was warmly welcomed on the day by Mr Rauhut and other staff members.
But off course, the most important aspect was the learners, who were split into two groups of approximately 40. I was delighted with the interaction that I had with them and was consistently “bombarded” with questions on the planets and was not short of responses when I asked questions myself. After both sessions, I was kept busy by some very enthusiastic and excited learners who had additional questions which I was more than happy to answer.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the time spent at the school and I hope that the talk was of benefit to, and enjoyed by, the learners. I look forward to further interaction with the school in the future.
My sincere thanks to Mr Rauhut, Mrs Jensen, the other staff members that I met, the school management team, and off course, the learners."
